Guidelines for authors
Papers are submitted online at https://cms.gnest.org.
An abstract of your paper (around 200 to 300 words) should be submitted by 23 December 2022.
Both oral and poster presenters are invited to submit a full paper manuscript with a length of 2 to 4 pages (including abstract and references) by 14 April 2023.
Submissions in the form of an extended abstract (one-page manuscripts) are also accepted for presentation at the conference and are published in the abstract book. They are not considered for publishing in CEST2023 proceedings.
The manuscripts should be formatted according to the template. You are advised to use the online submission system and create an account by following the instructions. Please use the English language in all the submitted manuscripts.
Authors will be notified of paper acceptance by the end of May 2023. All the papers undergo a rigorous review process.
Invitation letters
You can download an invitation letter from the Conference Submission platform. After login in to your account, you have to click on “My invitation letters” on the left-side menu. Please keep in mind that not all authors are eligible for an invitation letter as being an author of the paper does not make you eligible for receiving an invitation. To make an author eligible for an invitation letter, please assign him as a "Presenting author" or a "Participant" through the edit screen of your paper. If you do not have access to do it anymore (the paper is under review or accepted), please contact us.
Guidelines for presentations
CEST2023 programme will include oral, flash and poster presentations.
Oral presentations: The papers selected for oral presentation will be given a 15-minute slot in the programme, (12 minutes of presentation and 3 minutes of questions from the audience).
Flash presentations: Flash presentations (up to 5 slides including cover slide and acknowledgements) are introduced in order to enhance posters’ visibility (in the related sessions) and motivate the delegates to visit and further discuss with the authors during the poster sessions. Papers selected for flash presentation will be given a 3-minute slot in the programme (no questions from the audience) and will also have to prepare a poster for the poster session.
Poster presentations: The papers will be only presented during the poster session. There are poster sessions during the Conference. Each poster session author will be provided with a poster board area and mounting pins. The poster number and title will be indicated on the board. Authors are responsible for mounting their posters on the morning of their presentation and removing them at the end of the day. Authors are advised to present close to their poster in order to discuss their research with the conference participants at the time indicated by the conference programme. The poster's size should be 80 cm high and 65 cm wide - (approx 8 A4 pages).
