Dr. Dimitra Vagiona is a Professor of Sustainable Development and Project and Environmental Management at the Department of Spatial Planning and Development, School of Engineering, AUTh. Her research interests focus on sustainable development, renewable energy resources, environmental impact assessment, analytical tools for decision-making, environmental economics and planning. She has participated in 22 research projects. She has published three books and three chapters in books. Her published work includes 32 papers in scientific journals and about 90 publications in scientific conferences. She acts a reviewer in many scientific journals and has participated as guest editor in special issues of journals.
