Iraklis Panagiotakis has more than 18 years of experience working in several different environmental projects in Greece and Western Balkans and he is the Environmental Manager of AECOM in Greece. He holds a PhD in Environmental Engineering and has more than 30 publications in international scientific journals, books and conferences. Iraklis is a Senior Editor of the Bulletin of Environmental Contamination and Toxicology (Springer) and Editor of the Book Series Environmental Contamination Remediation and Management (Springer). He teaches Hazardous Waste Management in the National Technical University of Athens and the University of West Attica. He is a member of the Network for Industrially Coordinated Sustainable Land management in Europe (NICOLE).
