Dr. Guillermo San Miguel is a Lecturer and Senior Research Fellow (PCD-I3) in the School of Industrial Engineering (ETSII) at Universidad Politécnica de Madrid. He holds a B.Sc. in Chemistry, an M.Sc. in Environmental Impact Assessment from University of Wales and a Ph.D. in Environmental Engineering from Imperial College of London. He received the Ramón & Cajal fellowship and the I-3 award for research excellence in 2007 from the Spanish Ministry of Science. His research interests include Life Cycle Assessment (LCA), environmental, economic and social analysis of products, services and organizations, carbon footprint analysis, renewable energies and waste management. His work has produced over 50 indexed articles, 90 conference papers and 8 book/book chapters.
