General Session format
CEST2025 is structured in sessions that are organised as follows:
They last around 90 minutes and are followed by a 30-minute coffee break or lunch.
Each session relates to the twelve thematic areas of the conference and is managed by the Chairs of each session.
Each Session features 15-minute keynote speeches, oral presentations (10-minute slot) and flash presentations (5-minute slot).
Some sessions are followed by a several-minute Q&A session or panel discussion to initiate a dialogue and share concerns with fellow participants and stakeholders.
Presentation types and templates
The four main types of presentations are:
P1: Keynote presentations
P2: Oral presentations
P3: Flash presentations
P4: Poster presentations
You can consult the online programme to locate the type of your presentation. The template for the oral presentations is available here and the template for the poster presentations is available here.
General Structure
Keynote and Oral presentations (P1 and P2): Keynote speeches as well as papers selected for oral presentations have a length of 15 and 10 minutes, respectively.
Flash presentations (P3): Flash presentations are brief and concise talks to convey key research information and further engage the audience during the poster sessions. Papers selected for flash presentation will be given a 5-minute slot in the programme and are encouraged to prepare a poster for the poster session.
* Kindly adhere to the timeslots to ensure that all presenters have sufficient time to present their research.
Poster presentations (P4): Each poster session author will be provided with a poster board area and mounting pins. The poster number and title will be indicated on-site.
Poster presentations Instructions
Poster mounting: Authors are responsible for mounting their posters with pushpins on the morning of their presentation and removing them at the end of the day.
Poster size: The body of the poster should be approximately 80 cm high and 65 cm wide (approximately 8 A4 pages, see related file).
Poster fonts: Avoid using more than two or three basic fonts to secure readability and clarity.
Authors are advised to remain close to their poster during the allotted session to actively interact with the conference participants.
