This page provides information on the various ways you can participate and contribute to CEST2027.

The submission of manuscripts is a two-stage process.

1.  An abstract of your paper (around 200 to 300 words) should be submitted by 30 December 2026 either for oral or for flash/poster presentations.
2. Both oral and flash/poster presenters are invited to submit a full paper/extended abstract manuscript with a maximum length of 2 pages (including abstract and references) by 3 April 2027. 

The manuscripts should be formatted according to the following template. Please use the English language in all the submitted manuscripts. More details are provided below. Authors will be notified of paper acceptance by 10 April 2027. All the manuscripts undergo a review process. 

                                              How to join CEST2027

A. Submit your abstract / manuscript:

Step 1: Create an account: https://cosmos.gnest.org/conference/cest2027 if you don’t have one already

Step 2: Log in to your account

Step 3: Please make sure that you fill all the necessary fields in the submission platform and that you enter all the authors’ data and contact information.  

Step 4: Insert the abstract text in the appropriate field/box

Important notes for authors:

Note 1: In the process you are asked to notify if you plant to present orally or via a poster.

Note 2: All the accepted abstracts will be published in CEST2027 Book of abstracts

Note 3: All the accepted extended abstracts will be published in CEST2027 proceedings and will be assigned with a DOI number

Note 4: The extended abstract (2 pages manuscript) is not mandatory, you can still participate in CEST2027 by submitting only an abstract and you can mention that on the field “comments”.

Note 5: There will be calls for the publication of Special Issues in cooperating journals for all the conference submissions. 

B. Complete registration - pay registration fees:

To be able to participate you need to complete the registration process, which includes payment of fees. Without this step, you cannot participate (your manuscript will not be considered.

C. Organisation-level participation

There is the opportunity to organize workshops or project meetings. We encourage you to take an active role in shaping the conference by proposing and organizing your own workshops, project meetings, or special sessions or side-events. These can provide additional platforms for networking, collaboration, and sharing specialized knowledge.
