Dr. Iraklis Panagiotakis

Dr. Iraklis Panagiotakis is the General Manager of ENYDRON and the Environmental Manager of AECOM in Greece. He is an environmental engineer & scientist with more than 18 years of experience working in several different environmental projects in Greece and Western Balkans. ENYDRON recenlty conducted a project supporting the Greek Ministry of Environment and Energy aiming at investigating the best avaialble practices of contaminated soil management in EU member states. Iraklis holds a PhD in remediation of contaminated sites and has more than 30 publications in international scientific journals, books and conferences. He is Senior Editor of the Bulletin of Environmental Contamination and Toxicology (Springer) and Editor of the Book Series Environmental Contamination Remediation and Management (Springer). Iraklis is a Visiting Lecturer in the National Technical University of Athens and the University of West Attica. Iraklis is member and Vice-president of the Academic subgroup of NICOLE Network for Industrially Co-ordinated Sustainable Land management in Europe (https://nicole.org).
