30 years of national policy: the french approach to contaminated sites management
Mr. Sami Kaabouch is an engineer working as a soil policy officer in the General Directorate for Risks Prevention of the french Ministry for the ecological transition. He is responsible for implementing the national methodology and regulations regarding the management of contaminated sites. He also oversees orphan industrial sites management and national agencies projects related to contaminated soils. He previously worked as an environment inspector, specifically monitoring chemical plants on a regional scale. He is one of the two french members of the Common Forum network.
